Centre Facilities
As the centre was built specifically with activities in mind, it has everything you’ll need. There are warm changing rooms, toilets, hot showers, disabled access, and an onsite cafe (The Weir) as well as a hireable room called the Parkroom.
There is no parking available at COACH. When planning this amazing activity centre right in the heart of Taunton, they thought your adventure should begin with how you arrived. To find the nearest car parks please see here. There are a range of public transport options that bring you to the centre of Taunton. From here it is just a 10 – 15 minute walk. There are routes that take you through the hidden eden tucked away behind the urban buzz, along the river.
What you need to bring with you
For water based activities:
If you are taking part in any of our water activities from this centre you just need to bring swimwear, towel and old trainers to wear in the water. Any medication (inhalers), suncream and a bottle of water is also recommended. All of our group activities include everything else you will need such as wetsuit etc.
If you are hiring watercraft equipment please remember that wetsuits are not provided and we would recommend wearing old leggings and t-shirt or something that you don’t mind getting wet, of course you are welcome to bring your own wetsuit as well. We also have wetsuits available for hire. If you are unsure if wetsuits are included in your activity please do give us a ring or check your booking confirmation which will contain full details.
For land based activities:
If you are taking part in any of our land based activities you need to wear weather appropriate clothing. In the summer, a sunhat and suncream (fingers crossed) will be required. In the colder months (and occasionally the Summer) a raincoat and warm layers are needed.
All of our land activities require enclosed footwear, a pair of trainers are perfect.
