Our Minehead location
Our Centre in Minehead is situated in the middle of Minehead Seafront, with a wonderful view of Minehead Bay. Allowing all of our water activities to take place directly opposite the centre on the sea, what more could you ask for! If you have visited Minehead in the past you will recognise it as the old tourist information centre. Our land activities in Minehead currently take place on the outskirts of Minehead, see below for further details.
Water Centre Facilities
The Adventre Centre is equipped with changing rooms and a seating area for spectators. The best postcode to use for sat navs is TA24 5BG. There is pay and display parking directly opposite the centre along the seafront, as well as large pay and display car parks at either end of the seafront.
Unfortunately, unlike our Taunton facility our Minehead centre was not custom built for outdoor activities. It used to be the visitor centre that sat unused for several years. We have given it a new lease of life but it does mean that we don’t have all the facilities we would like, such as toilets. Although we don’t have customer toilets in the centre there is a public toilet just out of the centre and to the left along past the arcades.
What to bring with you for water activities
All activity specific equipment required for our water-based activities is provided including wetsuit, buoyancy aid and safety equipment. You will only need to bring shoes that can get wet, something to wear underneath a wetsuit and a towel.
