We offer canoeing on the river from our Taunton centre, the perfect place to give it a go! You can choose to hire a canoe and head up the river and search for wildlife or head down the river towards the town centre and if you’re feeling adventurous even jump across onto the Bridgwater and Taunton Canal. What to bring
With canoe hire buoyancy aids and all safety equipment is provided meaning you only need to bring a towel, something to wear on the water and some shoes that can get wet. Canoe is one of the few water activities where you may not get wet. However, we do recommend bringing a change of clothes just in case.
All equipment is cleaned between uses.
